The description on the outside of the box reads,

"Add peaceful ambiance to any room with the soothing sound of flowing water and the soft glow of simulated candle light".



And that would be great, if it actually worked like it's supposed to work.



The visual effect isn't bad - especially from a bit of a distance. The "simulated" candles look ok. They flicker and the water runs down from them and recycles through for the fountain. The base looks like stone (it's coated plastic). And it comes with some nice rocks to set around the base of the candles.



But if you're looking for a soothing sound, look elsewhere. All I can hear when I turn this thing on is the annoying buzz of a cheap, battery operated pump. You can't hear the water flowing, trickling, gurgling or otherwise.



So, for my purposes, this product is an EPIC FAIL.
